Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to your use of akshayanimateddsa.in (the “website”) and to any course you buy from Akshay Animated DSA (“we”, “us”). By creating an account, buying a course or using the website, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the website.

1. Accounts

You need an account to buy and watch a course. Give accurate details, keep your login to yourself and tell us straight away if you think someone else is using your account. You're responsible for everything done through your account. You must be at least 18, or have a parent's or guardian's permission, to buy a course.

2. Courses and access

  • Buying a course gives you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to watch its lessons and use its visual labs for your own learning. The Visual Lab plan gives you the same licence for the course's visual labs only; it doesn't include the lesson videos.
  • Access lasts for the period shown on the course page (365 days for Data Structure & Algorithm Mastery and for its Visual Lab plan), counted from the date of payment. Buying the same course again adds another full period to your current access. Upgrading from the Visual Lab plan to the full course takes the unused months of your Visual Lab off the course price (a started month counts as a whole one); the course then gives you the lessons and visual labs for its full period from the date of the upgrade, and replaces the Visual Lab plan.
  • Access is delivered online, instantly after a successful payment. See our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
  • We may update, reorder or improve course content over time. Free previews and the public visualizer may change or be removed at any time.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR). Payments are processed securely by Razorpay; we never see or store your card, UPI or bank details. A course is yours once the payment is confirmed. We may change prices for future purchases at any time; a change never affects a purchase you've already made. From time to time we offer discounts, such as a limited-time sale, an early-bird price for the first seats of a live batch, a returning-student price for those who've studied with us before, or a coupon code, which applies when you open the link it comes in (codes aren't typed in). Discounts don't add up: you get the single best one. A coupon code gives the same discount on every course and batch, and can be used once per student for each course or batch. Buying the same course or Visual Lab again while your access runs, or up to 30 days after it ends, gets the same discount as your last purchase of it. A discount applies only to purchases made while it's on, at the price shown when you pay, and a lower price later isn't a reason for a refund.

4. Refunds

Because access to the course or the Visual Lab is given instantly, course and Visual Lab sales are final and we don't offer refunds or cancellations for them. A live batch is paid one month at a time (or every month at once, where paying in full is offered) and a month you've paid isn't refunded, paid in full included; if we cancel a live batch or webinar, every paid month whose classes hadn't started is refunded in full. 5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • share your account or login with anyone else;
  • download, record, screen-capture, copy, re-upload, resell or publicly share any paid lesson, lab or course material;
  • try to get around the website's access controls, or interfere with the website or its security;
  • use the website for anything unlawful.

If you break these rules we may suspend or end your access without a refund.

6. Intellectual property

All videos, animations, visual labs, code, text, logos and other material on the website belong to Akshay Animated DSA or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright. You may use the code you learn in the course in your own projects and interviews, but you may not republish the course material itself.

7. Mentorship and live batches

Live batches and webinars are announced on the website. You register on the website with your account, and a paid one is paid there through Razorpay: a webinar once, a live batch month by month at the price you registered at. Classes take place online on Google Meet; the link is sent only to registered students who are up to date with their payments. One-to-one mentorship sessions are arranged separately over WhatsApp, and their timing, format and price are agreed with you before you pay for them.

8. Disclaimer

We work hard to make the course accurate and useful, but it is provided “as is”. We don't guarantee any particular result, such as an interview, job offer or salary. We aim to keep the website available at all times but can't promise it will never be interrupted.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or a course. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the course the claim relates to.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
